I really appreciated the honest advice with regards to the advantages/disadvantages of each of the houses we viewed. As an engineer, I know that there are some risks with buying a 100+ year old house and I felt much more comfortable with the purchase after you had given me your opinion, and had directed me to a house inspector with a lot of experience with older houses. Also, your predictions of the eventual selling prices were spot on!
I am convinced that had you not reacted quickly in calling me as soon as this house was posted, arranged for me to see it a few hours later, and submitted the bid for us that evening, we would not have got it… especially at such a good price. We couldn’t be happier with the house, and will probably be living here for the next 50 years. I am grateful to our friends who recommended you to us; I will not hesitate to recommend you to any of my friends who are looking for a house in the future.
